Fear Not

Jeremiah 1:5-8
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

Then I said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth."

But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a youth'; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD." (ESV)

Fear is something that has been way too prevelant in my life. Fear of what people think of me. Fear of the unknown. Fear that God might call me to do something that I am incapable of doing. Feelings of inadequacy. And these fears always held me back.
I have been unable to be used to my full potential by God because I have been hindered by fear.

Pastor Justin gave me this verse that just spoke volumes to me. God knew me before I was born. He consecrated me. He told me not to be afraid.

And so I will not. I'm truly going to trust God in all things and allow Him to use me however He wants. He is with me to deliver me. It's a promise.
