All for the KOG (Kingdom of God)

"for if we live, we live for the LORD, or if we die, we die for the LORD; therefore whether we live or die, we are the LORD'S" (Romans 14:8)

Because I don't have my own bible, I have to use my dad's old bible, so every time I read devotions his notes and comments are on each side of the margins. This morning while reading devotions with two other interns, I had come across this scripture, Romans 14:8, that my dad had previously bracketed and wrote "LEGACY" in the left margin. After seeing this, I got kinda freaked out, yet at the same time amazed at how strong God's message was. He spoke to me and made clear that I must always remember that during this internship, EVERYTHING I do (whether it may be serving at fuse, writing papers, or typing blogs) must be for His glory. He continued to speak into my heart through my fellow interns and also the sessions that we have had today. After the devotionals and morning session, it was time to get down to business. I have never experience so much information all at once. It was honestly difficult for me to keep up with all the work that we had to do and stay on task. But because of His awesomeness, He pulled me straight back to this verse and reminded me how everything I do isn't for the people but for Him alone. PRAISE DA LORD!
