At New Hope at Ferrington this weekend, God's word was delivered about family. The importance of quality family time together is something that is being lost in this next generation. It was interesting to find out how important family dinner times are. Regular family dinner times help kids achieve higher academically and decrease the risk of drug or alcohol use, and early sexual behavior. It was very interesting to hear all this, and it will be very helpful to use when thinking about raising a family. We also learned the importance of leading by example, doing daily devotions and making the right decisions to show the next generation how to live fully for God. It was a great service at Ferrington, and I'll be looking forward to the next!
